Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of RepoSync, operated by Christopher Radtke, operating as Acid Alchamy (Las Vegas, Nevada, USA) ("we", "us"), including the website reposync.online and the RepoSync desktop application (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

RepoSync helps you automatically synchronize your GitHub repositories across multiple devices and monitor their sync status from a dashboard. The Service syncs your code to GitHub using credentials you provide; we are not GitHub and are not affiliated with GitHub, Inc.

2. Accounts

• You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
• You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are engaged in abuse, fraud, or illegal activity.

3. Plans, billing, and renewals

• The Free plan allows one (1) connected device. The Pro plan ($2.99/month, or the price shown at checkout) allows unlimited devices.
• Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled.
• You can cancel anytime from the billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.
• If a payment fails, we may begin a grace period and subsequently downgrade your account to Free.
• We may change pricing with reasonable advance notice; changes apply to subsequent billing periods.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the Service for unlawful purposes; sync content you do not have the right to use; attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service; or abuse the infrastructure (for example, excessive automated requests beyond intended use).

5. Your content and credentials

You retain all rights to your code and repositories. RepoSync does not claim ownership of your content and does not store your repository file contents on our servers (see our Privacy Policy). You are responsible for the GitHub tokens and credentials you supply and for complying with GitHub's terms.

6. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties including GitHub, Stripe, Brevo, and Cloudflare. Your use of those services through RepoSync is also subject to their respective terms. We are not responsible for third-party outages or actions.

7. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We are a small operation and provide the Service on a commercially reasonable-effort basis.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of your code; RepoSync is a synchronization convenience, not a backup guarantee.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, code, profits, or revenue. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim (or USD $20 if you are on the Free plan).

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend access for violations of these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (e.g., disclaimers and limitation of liability) will survive.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and the courts located in Clark County, Nevada will have exclusive jurisdiction, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, by notice in the app. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
